What I liked

Sam is a multi talented performer. A fun show that she also allows time for play and exploration. Giving moments to when she allows an audience member choose the type of dance for the audition to giving an improvised monologue that shows you the wide range of talent Sam possesses.

My overall impression

SAM is such a hilarious parody musical that shows how ridiculous this entertainment industry truly is. From such specific details and jokes along the way to showing us the hoops people go through to feel seen, Sam lets us know that the journey is worth the struggle. Anyone can relate to a show about perseverance and investing in yourself. Sam is energetic, sweet and we want her to succeed in an industry that tells her no. A great blend of heart and humor.
