She has one section where she has to do a very successful monologue, and it is completely improvised based on an audience suggestion. I yelled out “Rice” and she improvised a rice monologue on the spot. But it didn’t feel improvised. It felt polished and rehearsed and well structured. It was an amazing feat. See the show for that section alone – but if you are in the entertainment industry, you will relate to this show in so many ways.
What I didn't like
This show is one of the tightest I’ve seen t Fringe. I don’t usually like stuff that’s so “inside baseball” but this was kinda perfect. My only question is whether it would work this well in other markets not as populated with entertainment folk. But perhaps it would… I hope Sam gets to find out.
My overall impression
Extremely well done, entertaining show about the struggles of being an actor. Highly recommended.
