What I liked

The technical aspects of the show really helped sell the story for me! The lighting cues, and smart staging helped pull me into this story and focus on the brilliant talent that is Sam!

What I didn't like

The musical numbers are so catchy and infectious! I need the album released on Spotify so I can scratch the brain itch that’s come over me since I saw this show.

My overall impression

Sam pitched this to me as a “love letter to being an LA Actor.” And how apt that is! This show hit so close to home, in so many ways, I was left laughing out loud, but with a heartache from the sheer relatability of it all. Any artist will be able to see themselves in the vulnerable world Sam has put together, and walk out feeling inspired and uplifted by Sam’s infectious optimism.
