I loved the intuitive message at the end and I also enjoyed the music, the dancing, the flow of the show. It was fun to watch and I enjoyed hearing the singing, witnessing the struggle, and then also the come up.
What I didn't like
I think overall tech cue stuff could be improved but it was a preview and I actually loved when the issues came up because Sam came through and made it funny.
My overall impression
SAM is an incredible masterclass in being an aspiring actress from the SF Valley and attempting to reach fame, happiness, self-actualization, a job. As the audience, you go through an incredible journey of beautiful original music with a live accompanied keyboardist, Sam’s interesting dance moves, and some great jokes—literally, Sam does stand up in one bit. It’s so much fun and definitely relatable as a fellow valley girl actress-writer person trying to “make it” and figure out who you are and why you’re here.
