Simplicity of staging. Excellent performances, particularly from Maddie Natoli. Message of art being something that makes a life worthwhile is huge particularly in Hollywood and the industry. The earnestness and lack of cynicism was refreshing. It’s seeking answers to big questions without being didactic. It’s a reminder why fringe festivals got their start.

My overall impression
Anna Pavlova, nearing the end of her life, struggles to find out what was her purpose as an artist and human. Big questions and an earnestness of what it means to be an artist. Recommended highly as to why we do this and the importance of art in a money driven society.
