What I liked

I really appreciated the inclusivity and encouragement of one to be their truest self was my favorite part of the show because it inspired strength and confidence in others. The fact that no alcohol was involved was also much appreciated because I felt like we were all present and in the same space. I truly enjoyed how safe the environment felt and how open Ramon was with the audience.

What I didn't like

The sound tech could have been more on point and the first drag king could have had more of a performance/stage presence. She killed it as far as expressing herself and having a good time I could just tell the audience was losing interest and it was getting a little quiet as she performed. Aside from that everything was magic.

My overall impression

I left the Ramon show feeling energized, replenished, and inspired. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the show as it mentioned that it was to be healing, it was just something I had to experience. I’ve never been to a show where the audience plays such a big part in it and being able to play a part in the show as an audience member made it that much more exciting and well..healing. Ramon introduces some techniques to help cope and self regulate of which I found profound. The name of the show truly speaks for itself.
