What I liked
Great performances — both actors go all-in, emotionally and physically, the only times they are still is for a few brief moments on a bench.
Super funny script! There isn’t a dull moment in this 50 min show.
Vibrant direction — it’s 2 actors on a bare stage, but it doesn’t feel that way.
I don’t see a lot of love stories involving autism, so that angle is refreshing.
The scenes with the lichen vats were hysterical (you have to see it to understand).

My overall impression
Fabulous! This is a love story about a young autistic scientist who, while exploring the woods one day, meets a young man collecting mushrooms — something he just happens to know a LOT about. From that first chance encounter sparks a potential relationship — but not all is quite what it seems. Can they overcome their differences to find love? Well, you have to see the play to find out.
