A parody-licious talent showcase of a pitch perfect performer. She acts her ass off, and it’s just as funny in the subtext as it is on the surface. Sam is supremely charismatic, and their journey is wholly relatable, at least to anyone peripherally involved in “the industry”. In my personal journey of loving acting, and hating rejection, I too have learned to find purpose and joy in producing and comedy. Emily is hilarious and captivating in this aesthetically adorable, and cognitively rich solo show. It’s cute, clever, deep, and intriguing. The production design is beyond delightful. Every single piece of pink and purple, however relevant or absurd they might be. If a d*sney princess was a boat, and that boat was a bop it, and that bop-it-boat was embodied by a cute kinky hilarious clown! - She’s busty & she’s brilliant! “The Best Man Show” was hilarious, delightful, and relevant. He had us all enraptured in laugher throughout the show. Mark is a great performer and an excellent improviser. the interactions with the audiences members become entirely part of the whole experience. It’s also an exploration of love, for self and others. One man, dressed as Gandalph, retells in vivid detail on half hour of cinema. Riley was such a commanding presence. The accurate parts were incredible and hilarious spot on, the voices! the eyes! and the not so accurate parts were still hilarious anyway. Not that I would really know. I’ve watched all of the lord of rings exactly one time and the particular insistence of an ex. It's like if the monologue from Barbie was less corny and more accessible…and funny! Serena is such a talented performer as she gracefully glides us in and out of the various folders of her mind. Heartfelt and heartwarming. At times it hit the ouch but good feeling, like a massage to a sore muscle, and hilarious! I wish I had one of these for every single one of my friends. A lovely piece of theatre by a talented artist. A well written narrative/fiction that feels a little like a radio play with nearly constant speech/sound. Sharp wit and well timed laughs, with tender moments too. The subject matter wrestles with codependency and future tripping (woof). We barely learn the name of the protagonist, as her world is so overshadowed by her consumption with her girlfriend, or ex, or new fling, or whoever it is she is focusing on that isn’t herself. “The Dolphin I Loved” is now officially a show that I loved. Kelly Reilly tenderly and hilariously tells the unbelievable but true tale of a rescue dolphin, an unlikely researcher, and their wild bond. “It’s a true story, Look it up” she told us more than once.
