With a little work, this show has a lot of potential. I thought the director, Laura Steinroeder, did a great job with the space and the script, and though I wasn't quite clear on what the "Conventions" were meant to represent, the two actors totally kept me going with their energy and commitment. I think with a little time in development, this could be a very tight show.... full review

I would never have gone to this show had I not seen their bit at the Fringe Cabaret. Though filled with non sequiturs and with no clear storyline, the cast of WET THE HIPPO ran on their total commitment and complete trust and ability to listen to each other. I was totally engaged the entire time, and even the bits I had seen before were still hysterically funny! A must see for the Fringe!... full review

Four Clowns presents Me Rich You Learn

I had heard so much about Four Clowns from last years Fringe, and sadly was very disappointed. It started out okay, and the actor playing Martin is enjoyable enough, but when TR hits the stage, I just felt like it turned into a screaming, whining, high-school-jock-trying-to-be-funny show. It was so abrasive and negative and not funny that when the end came, which could've worked with the right build up, all I could do is just stare with my jaw agape in horror. ... full review
