Befok (or the desperate attempt to impress Iñárritu)

"Desperate" is the key word in this title as Lola Luvv's desperation leads her to increasingly bizarre lengths to get the attention of a famous director who, I personally think, is overrated, but that makes the situation even more hilarious to me. That said, the sense of stakes felt way off.... full review

Waiting For A Show

A love/hate letter to theatre that anyone who's devoted their life to this strange and ephemeral art form can relate to. Also it's gd hilarious with several "oof, too real" moments.... full review

The Ho Who Got A Bad Review & Tracked Down...

I have been raving about this play to anyone who will listen. I'm practically evangelical about it. I'm starting to get concerned looks from other Fringers because I won't stop bringing it up. The performance I went to was well-attended, but that house should be packed every showtime.... full review

Little Stars Youth Theatre Presents: MACBETH (a solo show)

Arizona Rain

A near-death experience is a wake-up call and opportunity to discover what is really important to you. Or at least, that's how it's supposed to be. You get real honest after a near-death experience, but in Arizona Rain, much like me when I had mine, that honesty only extends so far. Sometimes, even after facing your own mortality, being honest to the one person that matters most remains impossible: yourself.... full review

Something Like... Musical

Talented finger puppets with a lot of drama going on that is, admittedly, extremely funny, even if it kept interrupting the story of Little Shop of Horrors. Obviously, Little Shop of Horrors was the reason we all attended. No other reason.... full review

Life Plan, or Living Your Best Life in a Collapsing World

This show was very funny. Also, I hardly laughed because I was seized by existential dread for about half of the runtime. Highly recommended!... full review
