The Study

I am going to try and not spoil too much but...Wow! MB Stage continues to successfully push the boundaries of what we know as a "regular" theatre experience. Every show of theirs is always more innovative than the one before. The Study is no different. I am first only talking about the concept because if someone were to tell you this idea, you might say it would be impossible to pull off. Not for David and Jared. I am always amazed by how well they create these interactive and immersive productio... full review

I suggest watching this in the daytime! Seriously though, this show was very enjoyable. Kept me on the edge of my seat and in suspense throughout the whole 30 minutes! You think you know what you are about to watch, but then you get pleasantly surprised. Although a frightening story, for me, you still leave thinking about the bigger picture of this story and about yourself in this world. Go enjoy this show!... full review

Coasterthon Catastrophe: An Amusement Park Musical

This was so much fun! The chorus did a great job playing the various characters and the main two actors did a great job singing, feeding off each other and the crowd's energy, and being the glue that kept the show running smoothly. This show broke the fourth wall and did so effectively. This is what a fringe show should be and how fun one should be too. The music and lyrics were also written well. Congrats! ... full review

So much fun. Bardic Bastards once again show why they create some of my favorite stories in the dark comedy genre. You will laugh throughout most of this play and find yourself enjoying an entertaining story that keeps you engaged throughout. This blend of writing and acting makes for a great time!... full review

Just One Moment

This concept is one I had not even thought of before. I definitely left the theatre wondering (and maybe even hoping) that there is some reality to it. I was so fascinated by this story/concept throughout the whole show that I kept wanting more of the story to unfold so I could discover more of this world. The actors delivery also kept me so engaged that it was probably the fastest, for me at least, 90-minute show I have seen. Time flies when you're having fun, I guess! ... full review

The Oz Monologues

You never get to hear the story of the Wizard of Oz from each character's lone perspective. They are always intertwined with one another. This beautiful production gives us insight into those perspectives and although we may think we know these characters very well, we find out much more about them from The Oz Monologues. Great storytelling, great performance by the actors, and a stunning design overall. ... full review

Wow. What a great show. The way Lucid Dramatics took these well-known characters, put them in a modernized world, and told this story about them was really captivating. This show really makes you feel things and invest yourself in this story and its characters. It even has moments where will relate to the relationships that you see onstage. You will find yourself having trouble keeping in your audible reactions due to the fantastic delivery of this story and these relationships by the actors. ... full review

This story is so very relatable. Any actor or artist who moved to LA to pursue their art should really come to this show! Melinda is also a fantastic storyteller and keeps you engaged throughout this whole show. This show has a nice balance of comedy and drama that makes you leave feeling inspired to continue to follow your dreams and put your happiness first. ... full review
