I'm so glad I managed to catch a performance of That Old Black Magic this year. I was fortunate to see it the last time it was at Fringe and done as a solo show. Adding a second actor took a great show and made it even better! It's a short glimpse into history that leaves you wanting to know what happens next. I love Magic Shows that actually make you think and Discoverie of Magic does just that. This isn't a flashy, smoke and lights show. Jackson Ridd presents several illusions and tricks that are thought provoking and leave you wondering for days later how he managed to do them.
