Voices

A real-life voice over artist who needs to speak up for herself is a great concept. And fortunately, Carla Delaney is an incredible voice artist. She is captivating from start to finish and has crafted a uinque, well-written and superbly performed solo show. A JOY TO WATCH! Highly recommend!!... full review

Awkwardly Fabulous

Missy Hairston is a beautiful, passionate, authentic performer who completely engaged me in her story from the get-go. A funny and heartfelt 60 minutes about a powerful, confident woman who knows who she....No, Missy is NOT "awkwardly fabulous", she is just plain FABULOUS!... full review

THUG TUNNEL

A fun musical with clever lyrics and characters. Reminded me of the spirit of "Urinetown". Had a really good time! Kudos to the whole team! I hope it has a larger life outside Fringe! ... full review

If you want funny and (short) short stories with a real kick, read by some amazing actors, this is the Fringe show for you! I love great storytelling so "Charlotte's Shorts" is my kind of jam. My first experience with Charlotte Dean and I enjoyed the show so much I am going to check out her website for more of "Charlotte's Shorts"! Brava!... full review

Tilt

A tense 60-minutes that will have you on the edge of your seat. An adrenaline rush of drama. The real deal. Two superb performers (one review called them "rock star actors" and it's true) working from a nearly-perfect dark but extremely funny script. TILT is why I go to the theater. I predict "Top of Fringe!"... full review

College Classified

Funny and clever idea. Very current topic (all the hoops one has to jump through to get admitted to the college of one's choice) done in the clever, inviting format of a video blog. Lauren Sarah Young is a versatile and talented writer and performer. This is a show that could (and I think is) going to play at colleges (maybe high schools too?). Funny and informative. But, it could be shorter to be an even stronger piece! Recommend! ... full review

Odilia

Vanessa Espino is a talented writer. "Odilia" is such an imaginative and poetic work of theater.. The play does exactly what I go to the theater for---to experience a new world/characters and stand in their shoes for a bit. To learn a little bit more about life, love, relationships, regret, death, shame, and rebirth. "Odilia" offers so much. One of my favorite plays of the Fringe. ... full review

A Little Hamlet

Liked it and happy it was a 30-minute production. Thought it was a great idea to take these short plays into schools (as this troupe does) to introduce a Shakespeare play to kids. But there was enough going on in a wink-wink sort of way to keep adults engaged!... full review
