Sam has the unique gift of making you feel like you're her best friend. This was such a well thought out story, full of emotion and great songs. I feel so privileged to know her better having seen the show. ... full review

HERE COMES RUTHERFORD

I have seen a lot of theatre including one-person shows and this was one of the most moving pieces I have ever been lucky enough to witness. Thomas Silcott, with the aid of Jill Andre's exceptional staging and direction, has crafted a beautiful love letter to his parents. The beginning in rhymed verse segues into passages of dialogue, a reading from Shakespeare, a little stand-up bass playing and warm, simple strokes of impressions of his parents. Through various modes of expression and an am... full review

The Scarlet Pimpernel

I loved going to a late night show at the Fringe to see a musical I didn't know based on a book I never read. The performances were beautifully crafted with some excellent musical theatre performers, especially the three leads, Caitlin Gallogly, Marc Ginsburg and Stanton Morales. I feel so lucky to have seen this show up close. There is so much money and production values put into musicals these days that it was a divine privilege to see a bare bones production. The staging by director Kathar... full review

Terror on The High Seas

Les is a master of the personal story! He brings you into his confidence early on, making you feel as if you are lucky enough to hear his full account of this adventure. The writing was clever and smart, but his performance was so natural you forget it isn't impromptu. By the end of the show I too found myself really missing Alaska! I can't wait to hear the next installment. ... full review

This show was fantastic! I found it uplifting and inspiring. I even lost one of my contact lenses through tears of joy and sadness. This one is not to be missed. Heather's performance is a tour de force, playing various hilarious characters mixed with true vulnerability. It was such a joy to witness and celebrate her story. ... full review

Pinata

This piece was delightful from start to finish. The performances were wonderful, especially Tracy Elliot as scaredy-cat mom and Tracey Rooney in a rare turn as the tough, feisty mom. The production values were spot on, embracing the concept of the Fringe using minimal set pieces. ... full review

I am Sophie.

I am Sophie's biggest fan! Corinne Shor took us on a fabulous ride of creating a new identity in the role of flirty, French Sophie. I have been a fan of Corinne's acting but never knew she was such a fine writer. Her writing is unassuming and brilliant: I truly felt she was in the moment and simply telling us her stories, impromptu. The concept of the show is refreshingly original. She brings new life to the one person show format. I was truly inspired by this piece. ... full review
