Shakespeare in Vegas is such a fun story! I loved the quirky characters and how the actors played off of each others’ energy. The character development in the main character was also great to see, and the plot twists make the story fun to watch until the end.... full review

Liza is a beautiful soul, and that shines through so brightly in Supernova. She not only has a star quality in her amazing singing and original music, but she also has an amazing story to share for all fellow recovering people pleasers out there. The way she handles topics of grief, loss, and suicide are handled with such care and kindness, and even a touch of humor, to keep the audience with her the whole way through her transformation. Bravo, Liza, you are a star!!!... full review

Vanlyfe

A show is truly special when it can change your perspective and how you choose to live your life moving forward. Vanlyfe has shown the humanity in people we see on the streets who we might swiftly walk by and never look into their eyes. I felt moved by all of the characters’ stories and motivations, and I want to be able to extend that same empathy to my often-overlooked neighbors. ... full review

Dinosaurs

jackie yangyuen · July 01, 2024 certified reviewer
This is one of the best plays I have ever seen. Dinosaurs is not just funny and quirky but is also nostalgic and deep with tackling a topic as serious and traumatic as sexual assault. The humor and tragedy balanced each other out with very likeable and fun characters who have great dialogue and chemistry with each other. What touched me the most was how many ways in which the main character got back in touch with healing their own inner child. That was beautiful and healing to witness. ... full review

Maddie is an Artist with a capital A. She’s able to take a feeling and follow it into oblivion and turn it into an abstract experience. Rectangles has many layers of meaning behind the absurd dialogue, fun handcrafted props, and beautiful harmonies and music. If you like avant garde artists like Bjork, you will love this show!... full review

The Complaints Dept.

The Complaints Dept is an absurd and surreal satire of corporate mundanity, and I appreciated just how interactive and diverse it was! Each character brought their own spin on engaging with each person's complaints. The experience has you on your feet in different spaces that engage you with a different kooky character.... full review

Who's Your (Sugar) Daddy?

Who's Your (Sugar) Daddy? is such a hilarious and fast-paced comedy with really fun and dynamic characters! I loved the premise but definitely could not predict how the plot twists would play out. It was really enjoyable to watch it all unfold to ridiculous proportions. I also appreciated how touching the show could be at key moments with some sage advice for any aspiring Sugar Babies out there.... full review

My Mother Doesn't Know I'm Kinky

My Mother Doesn't Know I'm Kinky is a fun and quirky show that brings you into a warm and comfortable hug of Jean's inner world, whose struggles with discovering and accepting her own sexuality lends themselves to funny and touching scenes. While the subject matter, on the surface, could be intimidating and scary to some, Jean has a gentle touch with opening our eyes to a world that is more that just whips and chains - it's a surprisingly wholesome gateway to intimacy and connection, things she ... full review

Morgan the Musical: A Sex Toy Western

jackie yangyuen · June 23, 2024 certified reviewer
Sex Toy Western is such a fun and hilarious sex-positive musical! How refreshing is it to have a charismatic and confident nonbinary lead? The songs were catchy and fun, and the small town satire was on point! The entire cast had amazing vocal chops, and you can feel just how much fun the actors have with their roles.... full review
