This show is amazing. Leigh tells a true and very personal story while combining it with fictional elements. Which added this incredible dimension to the emotions and themes of the story. AND a lot of humor. As a woman who is an artist of child-bearing age, the story struck home for me and I appreciate Leigh bringing this story to the stage. When I met Megan she made it sound as if she were just a mom wanting to put on a show about snacks. Which alone sounded amazing to me since I love snacks. But it turned out that Megan is actually a theatre veteran who has a long successful acting career and it showed in her performance. She was funny, moving and hit just the right levels with a portrayal of herself throughout her childhood and current life as a mom. The show starts with her wedding video from the 90s and her hair in that video alone is worth the price of admission. Donna tells one of the most unbelievable true stories from her life with humor and heart. I hope her story will get made into a movie because I want to see it all: the 90's hair, the mafia and the high times in Miami. It was awesome. ... full review
