Reservoir Dolls: The Whole Bloody Affair

Lani is a great performer - I loved all of the choices she made to bring each character to life. Her comedy was on point, and she kept nailing it scene after scene. I don't know Tarantino very well, and I was completely sucked in to Lani's characters and laughing the whole time. ... full review

BALL BOY

Ben is a warm and sincere performer, and this show offers way more than stand-up. I was so impressed by his ease, and how I felt like I was just hanging out with a friend. I laughed a lot, and when I wasn't laughing I was smiling at his story or the great images he shares. You can feel the way he loves his family, and the way he lets you in on the jokes makes you feel like family.... full review

I Totally Would've Had a Threesome With You

A punchy teen camp rom-com with some depth. The audience was audibly invested in the drama happening on-stage, because the drama was the kind of delicious stuff that made up all the notes we passed in class. The ensemble worked well together, and the set was visually fun. ... full review

Emotional Alpha

Andrew Knox is a THEATRICAL ALPHA. I was blown away by his performance in this tight 60-minute show that blends vulnerability with comedy in a thoughtful and satirical package. I came in a big fan of Andrew's, and I was blown away by the technical capacity of his performance on top of being incredibly impressed by the writing. This is a MUST SEE.... full review

Space Company

I enjoyed this weird, comedic, and pointed exploration of the corporate systems that continue to stratify our society. Emma is always a clever performer, and I felt like the point of this piece was clear. I really enoyed her commitment to the bit, from costume to hair, she was giving MOM.... full review

Cindy Is Right Now

This is a great interactive piece with a clever premise. Lacy is a magical presence onstage, and you feel so comfortable and at home with her. I loved what the piece explored, and how it did so. I thought it was smart and funny, and because Lacy is magic, the audience bought in right away, which made the show that much better. Go see her: Cindy is Right Now!... full review

Grief Box

I really loved the concept of Grief Box, and Kathleen's execution was dynamic and effortless. She brings energy and presence for an hour that feels full, and weaves together jokes, grief, and tension in a way that feels rewarding to watch. I laughed hard, and felt connected to her character. Highly recommend!... full review

Dara knows death and grief can be ridiculous, and she didn't shy away from the comedy of her personal experiences. It was wonderful to hear her story and get to know the characters in her family. Exceptional writing, extremely smart, and engaging at every turn! I really enjoyed my experience.... full review

The Faults in My Stars

rachel austin · June 03, 2023 certified reviewer
We really enjoyed the honest and authentic exploration of her theme. Yes, it was about astrology, and yes it was about Emma's astrology, but it wasn't really about astrology at all. We all want to know who we are and why, and Emma has crafted a fun, catchy, goofy, smart musical to share her journey with us. There are no faults in YOUR stars, Miss Emma!!! ... full review
