Phenomenal show. Probably the best Fringe show i’ve seen. And it was VIRTUAL?!?! What! Seriously it being virtual i think actually helped it, since it was confined to a room. Very Bo Burnham-esque (assuming you’ve seen “Inside”). I always said the best art performances are the most vulnerable. This is a bedroom confined pop star singing about being non-binary, having big tits, having a dead dad, hookup culture, unfulfilled dreams, semi-realized dreams etc. All while being accompanied by a pianist... full review

Not that good but then again it’s over Zoom. I’m tired of Zoom shows, I didn’t know it was going to be over Zoom had i known, I probably would’ve skipped it. This show is mostly a PowerPoint. That said, I appreciate the effort. But this one wasn’t really for me. ... full review

This was an impressive show. Kevin Neighbors is a phenomenal actor. The way he switches characters is so interesting and intense. One second he’s acting as his dumb horny teenage friend and the next he’s coming out to his father. The emotional beats in this story were strong, definitely a few minutes where you can you feel the pain Kevin felt in that moment. It was like an episode of Black Mirror set in Cyberpunk 2077. I won’t lie, the story was convoluted, and about mid way through it sorta lost me. However, it had a strong start. I liked the direction they were headed, i liked how dystopian the future was portrayed, and more importantly i liked how acclimated the leading couple was to it. Felt realistic. The acting and set design is on point. Again they do a lot of cool things and whoever created this was ambitious as hell. ... full review
