Beautiful show. Shelly has an incredible voice, nuanced and operatic. It is such a joy to hear her singing in such an intimate space. The show is a mix of songs and storytelling. I really enjoyed hearing her tell her stories of love and heartbreak and her inspiring message of overall hope. The performer pours her heart out on the stage. It was a delight all around. This is the kind of show I imagine when I think of Fringe. Its visual and auditory candy. Funny, sexy, interesting, unique. I sat in the front row, but the show happens all around. It really makes use of the space. The acting is top notch and the voices of all of the singers are gorgeous. I am a huge David Lynch fan and really appreciated all of the references. I saw this show a number of times and it gets better each time. There is so much going on and on first viewing the impact was visceral and powerful. Tanya is an incredibly versatile performer. She creates distinct vibrant characters. The show is an autobiography which covers scenes from her childhood to motherhood. It addresses issues of body issues, discrimination, and wrestling with identity and image. It is funny, dramatic and brave. A highly entertaining show. Recommended... full review

The show was fantastic. Bethany is naturally funny. Her timing and delivery is spot on. I laughed the whole time. Although the show is hilarious, it is not a stand up act. Bethany dives deep into her life story and struggles, clearly communicated and heart felt. She shows so much creativity and imagination in acting out different emotional states and characters.
