This show was well directed, well acted, funny and relevant. I am a high school teacher and I always have a filter on when I see high school, teens and sexuality as the subject matter of a drama. I loved this show, and I would love to see a show like this presented to high schools across the country. When the show is over, it leads to lively discussion. It covers not only sexuality, but also teen friendships and issues of internet and privacy. I had a great time at this show.... full review

This is a gem of a show. Funny, moving and personal. I loved the framing device - she writes her screenplay and then acts out the parts of her life during the process of writing. She does a great job of creating the various voices both external and internal. An emotional and moving show told with grace and skill.... full review

Sigute's story is an inspiration. She combines storytelling with poetry into beautiful hypnotic theater. The power of solo theater is its ability to be transformative to the audience. Overall the story is about hope and resilience. It takes great bravery to lay your soul bare to an audience and this story is nothing short of brave. See this show! Joyful is a master storyteller. Her humor, her use of her voice, her expressions to tell her story. I don't know what to add to the already glowing reviews...I hope she brings this shows beyond Fringe to a larger audience. Beautiful show. Shelly has an incredible voice, nuanced and operatic. It is such a joy to hear her singing in such an intimate space. The show is a mix of songs and storytelling. This is the kind of show I imagine when I think of Fringe. Its visual and auditory candy. Funny, sexy, interesting, unique. I sat in the front row, but the show happens all around. It really makes use of the space. The acting is top notch and the voices of all of the singers are gorgeous. I am a huge David Lynch fan and really appreciated all of the references.
