LOS ANGELES, CA — Confessions of a Pregnant Stripper is a bold solo performance blending comedy, storytelling, confession, and performance art. Pregnant and in heels, actor, stripper, and performance artist Megan “Reagan” Rippey shares hilarious, provocative, and unexpectedly wholesome true stories from 17 years of stripping, offering audiences an intimate exploration of sexuality, labor, motherhood, survival, and autonomy.

Through stories of fertility treatments after long nights at the club, dancing while visibly pregnant, and navigating cultural discomfort around eroticism and pregnancy, the piece challenges mainstream assumptions about sex work and motherhood. At once playful and politically charged, Confessions of a Pregnant Stripper introduces a rarely seen archetype: the “pregnant stripper”—not glamorized, not sanitized, but unapologetically human.

Originally from Baltimore, Rippey holds a BA in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and an MFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts. Alongside her professional acting career, she has worked as a stripper for over 17 years. She co-founded the Cyber Clown Girls Show during the COVID-19 shutdown, helping raise over $50,000 for mutual aid and nonprofit organizations, and later co-founded the Stripper Co-op in Los Angeles. Rippey was also one of the leaders in the successful campaign to unionize Star Garden with Actors’ Equity Association, helping establish the first stripper union of this century.
