ALL BLACK SKETCH COMEDY GROUP HOT COFFEE DEBUTS AT 2026 HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL

Hot Coffee Comedy Hour

An all-Black comedy troupe has their Hollywood Fringe debut.

Los Angeles, CA – Hot Coffee is proud to announce their participation in the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The Hot Coffee Comedy Hour will be performed on Saturday, June 6th at 3 P.M. (Preview), Tuesday, June 9th at 8:30 P.M. (Preview) and Saturday June 27th at 7:00 P.M., at the Actor’s Company (The Other Space) in West Hollywood at 916 North Formosa Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90046.

Hot Coffee, an all-Black ensemble, creates a brand new sketch show every month. The performance consists of live sketches, digital shorts and featured guests. Past guests have included Ron Funches (Loot, Trolls), Aaron Branch (Unstable), Zainab Johnson (Upload, Tab Time), Sasheer Zamata (SNL, Masters of the Universe), and Bianca Cristovao (Stand-up). The eccentric LA Based Sketch comedy group typically performs monthly as a part of the The Cookout featuring Hot Coffee & Series Finale, every fourth Friday of the month at 9 pm at the HIT/ Broadwater Second Stage, located 6320 Santa Monica Blvd. Each show is approximately 90 mins, with Hot Coffee performing first followed by Series Finale. Each month Hot Coffee tests the limits of comedy addressing everything from pop culture and politics to everyday nuances.

“The growth we’ve seen since our first show in March of 2023 has been unbelievable. We’re excited to elevate and debut our talents on a respected and prestigious platform,” says Hot Coffee Founder Briané Goodrum. “The journey so far has been a heartwarming, learning experience that has prepared us for our Fringe debut.”

Hot Coffee is scheduled for three dates during the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival, Saturday, June 6th at 3 P.M. (Preview), Tuesday, June 9th at 8:30 P.M. (Preview), and Saturday June 27th at 7:00 P.M. All performances will be held at The Actor’s Company LA at 916 North Formosa Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90046. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door for $15. For this special event tickets will be two for $20, with special discounts for Fringe participants and donors.

About Hot Coffee – Formed by Briané Goodrum, Hot Coffee is an all-Black sketch troupe based in Los Angeles. Hot Coffee has performed consistently for three years with the monthly show The Cookout featuring Hot Coffee & Series Finale. They are scheduled to perform at the Dallas Sketch Comedy Festival on May 30th, 2026. They have been participants in the new Black Comedy Festival in Kansas, MILF comedy Festival in LA and have performed as guest features on shows across the Los Angeles area.
