For Immediate Release:

HOLLYWOOD – Poet and actor Raja El Majzoub, brings his haunting piece The Veil to the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Inspired by the work of famed authors Hussein Barghouthi and Mahmoud Darwish, this free, 45-minute performance is a powerful journey of poetry and lyrical storytelling as El Majzoub explores the weight of living in exile.

“The Veil is masks,” El Majzoub said. “I will take you on a journey of mask after mask until you come to the point of who I am. The Veil might be the cover you wear over your true self as you go about your day, and it might be the line between life and death.”

“Some stories are whispered beneath the skin.”
