LOS ANGELES, CA – Writer, producer, co-director, and performer Bill Prudich brings the world premiere of Good Boys Anonymous to The Actors Company as part of the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Co-directed by Rick Simone Friedland, Good Boys Anonymous immerses audience in a staged meeting: one chair, one mic, seven very different histories. Each confession peels back another layer of the quiet, lifelong panic that comes with never being allowed to disappoint.

Through a series of intimate confessions, Good Boys Anonymous follows seven distinct voices as they reckon with family conditioning, shame, faith, work, survival, and the exhausting pressure to please. Rather than offering diagnoses or easy catharsis, the show stays close to the messy, recognizable truth of people pleasing—the way it can pass for kindness while slowly hollowing someone out. Moments of dry, surprised laughter surface inside the tension, the way they do in real life: half defense, half relief.

Performed in an intimate circle at The Actors Company as part of Hollywood Fringe, Good Boys Anonymous gives audiences the feeling of sitting in the meeting themselves: listening, recognizing patterns, and noticing where their own stories rhyme with the ones onstage. It’s a compact, actor driven piece about family, faith, work, identity, and the quiet deals people make with themselves in order to stay loved.

Director’s Statement:
“No diagnosis. Detonation. Each person fights the same demon from a different angle. ‘Good’ isn’t virtue; it’s a role that eventually crushes whoever keeps playing it. This isn’t therapy or a lecture—it’s an hour in a room where the mask finally slips.”
