“THE DELULU DIARIES” BRINGS HORROR, HUMOR, AND EXISTENTIAL CHAOS TO THE HOLLYWOOD FRINGE

The Delulu Diaries

view project

Los Angeles, CA – May 20, 2026

A break-in spirals into a psychological unraveling in The Delulu Diaries, an offbeat horror-comedy solo theater experience that blends humor with haunting introspection. Written and performed by Lucy Isaula, directed by Deanna Gomez and Produced by Danny Rivas, the show premieres at Stephanie Feury Studio Theater on Saturday, June 6, with additional performances running through June 28 as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

At the center of the story is a ditzy, delusional young woman whose apartment is invaded in the dead of night. As she confronts a mysterious, faceless intruder, the lines between external danger and internal turmoil begin to blur. What unfolds is a surreal descent into her fractured psyche, forcing her to confront an unsettling question: Are the real threats outside her door – or within her mind?

Blending heart, humor, poetry and sharp social commentary, the show explores themes of mental health, grief, and the elusive promise of the American Dream and “hopes that the The Delulu Diaries can reach into people’s hearts and give them a laugh despite how dark the world may feel.”

Come for the laughs. Stay for the existential dread.
This production contains themes of mental health struggles and references to suicide ideology
