MOTHER: ONE-WOMAN PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER PREMIERES AT HOLLYWOOD FRINGE
MOTHER
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles-based actor and writer Christine Dickinson is excited to present MOTHER, a one-woman multimedia psychological thriller, premiering this June at the Mandani Theater as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
MOTHER follows ‘Daughter’, a thirtysomething woman struggling with the aches and pains of modern adulthood: ambient stress, unaddressed trauma, impossible standards, and a strained relationship with ‘Mother’, who lives thousands of miles away and won’t return her calls. Blending live performance with social media-style video elements, MOTHER considers the lengths a woman might go to to suppress a pain she can’t quite place, even if that might mean losing herself in the process.
