Los Angeles, CA — May 1, 2026 — Actress, comedian, and motivational-seminar-gone-wrong host Jackie Johnson brings her one-woman comedy show, How To Get a Second Husband, to The Hollywood Fringe Festival for 5 shows throughout the month of June.
A comedically vulnerable exploration of divorce, rediscovering yourself, re-marrying, and finally achieving the ultimate goal — dreamy, custom cabinets — Jackie’s show turns the true story of her scandalous divorce into a laugh-out-loud “self-help seminar.”
As an outrageous version of herself, Jackie guides her disciples through the Seven Steps to Get a Second Husband. What unfolds is a hilarious, must-see performance that’s part stand-up, part catharsis, and part group therapy (without the copay).
“This show is for anyone who’s divorced, knows someone who’s divorced, or should get divorced,” says Johnson. “Also, anyone who could use a laugh and a cry in the same night.”

A southern belle from Dallas, Texas, Jackie Johnson has been writing and performing comedy and musicals for nearly two decades. A regular at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, she was a longtime member of both the house sketch and musical teams. Her hit podcast Natch Beaut won Best Beauty Podcast at the iHeart Radio Podcast Awards, was featured twice at SXSW, and was listed in People as “One of the 8 Most Fun Podcasts to Listen To.”
