Hollywood, CA — June 2026 — International recording artist and multidisciplinary performer Leopold Nunan makes his debut at the Hollywood Fringe Festival with “Leo from Rio: Latin Icons”, a one-night-only live cabaret experience celebrating the legacy, passion, and rhythm of Latin music.

Set for June 19 at 10:00 PM at the Zephyr Theatre, the show invites audiences into an intimate, high-voltage musical journey through iconic songs that have shaped generations—from bossa nova and bolero to salsa, pop, and beyond.

Backed by a live ensemble, Nunan reimagines classics with bold arrangements and theatrical storytelling, weaving together cultures, languages, and eras into a seamless performance. The evening features reinterpretations inspired by legends such as Antônio Carlos Jobim, Mercedes Sosa, Roberto Carlos, and Marc Anthony—all filtered through Nunan’s singular voice and stage presence.

More than a concert, “Leo from Rio: Latin Icons” is a cabaret experience—intimate, expressive, and immersive—where music becomes narrative and the performer becomes conduit. With a blend of charisma, vulnerability, and electrifying vocals, Nunan transforms the stage into a living archive of Latin identity and emotion.

A Brazilian-born artist based in Los Angeles, Leopold Nunan has built a career across music, theatre, and performance art. Known for his dynamic live presence and genre-defying work, he has performed at major cultural events including LA Pride and Long Beach Pride, and is the recipient of multiple arts grants from the City of West Hollywood. His work bridges continents and disciplines, bringing Latin expression into contemporary performance spaces with urgency and style.

Presented as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival—one of the largest performing arts festivals in the United States—this debut marks a new chapter in Nunan’s artistic trajectory, expanding his presence into the city’s vibrant theatre scene.
