Hollywood, CA – As part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Bay Area comic and performer Holly Shaw brings her brand new full-length solo show ROAR!!!! to the SFS Theatre mainstage for five dates this June 2026.

Fresh off debuting this show at the Zero to Fierce Festival in Arcata a few months ago, Bay Area rising comic Holly Shaw comes to L.A. with this bold new theatrical work. Holly blends her deft stand-up chops with storytelling and ritual to create an utterly unique solo show that will keep you on your toes… and maybe scare you just a little bit. But in that fun way that a haunted house does. Come prepared to laugh, grieve, and release…

In ROAR!!!! – A Solo Dramedy Ghost Story, Shaw asks a haunting question: How well do you truly know someone? After her boyfriend dies, Holly makes an unexpected discovery about his true feelings and enters a mysterious game of lost and found with the dead, uncovering surprising talents along the way. The veils grow thinner between good people and bad people, between the script and real life, and between the living and the dead. What happens when a loved one dies, but they won’t stop talking? A comedian, a wise woman, and an earthquake woman walk into a bar….

Holly Shaw has spent a lifetime on stage, television, and film. Her credits include starring in the ABC special Love Hurts, hosting the televised Edinburgh Revue, and working as a Flamenco dancer, actor, speaker, coach, hypnotherapist, and stand-up comedian. Now based in Oakland, Shaw performs regularly at clubs and showcases throughout the greater Bay Area and is also widely recognized as a hypnotherapist and performance anxiety expert, as featured by NBC.

She is the author of three books:
The Creative Formula (2016), an Amazon bestseller;
Making Art in the Middle of Madness (2020), a #1 New Release;
and her newest book, Queen Lessons: What Stand-Up Comedy Taught Me About Dealing with Life’s Hecklers and Finding Courage in Your Queen Years (2025).
