LOS ANGELES, July 8, 2015—The immersive and intimate Hollywood Fringe hit HAMLET-MOBILE is extending for three nights only through a co-production with Bootleg Theater on July 10, 11, and 17 in the Bootleg Theater parking lot. Called “simply deliciously what Fringe and what theatre is all about” by Gia on the Move, HAMLET-MOBILE invites audience members, one or two at time, into the eponymous theater van for 15-minute plays inspired by and utilizing the language of Hamlet—and performed just for them.

HAMLET-MOBILE’s run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival resulted in nominations for Best of Dance and Physical Theatre and Orgasmico Theatre Co.’s O-Face Award for Most Orgasmic Production, as well as dozens of performances for delighted audience members. Anthony Byrnes of KCRW’s Opening the Curtain says Hamlet-Mobile “leaves you wanting more in both good and challenging ways.” Steven Leigh Morris of LA Weekly says, “It blurs the divide between theater and life in another, enthralling embodiment of ‘all the world’s a stage.’”

The Bootleg extension will feature three of Hamlet-Mobile’s repertory of eight short plays: “Crown | Ambition | Queen” on July 10; “Interior. Kitchen. Night.” on July 11; and “Break-up Sex” on July 17. All performance windows are from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Beginning at 7pm, audience members can reserve a first-come, first-served slot during the performance window. Potential audience members must sign-up in person. Experiencing Hamlet-Mobile is free, but tips for gas are highly appreciated.

HAMLET-MOBILE is the first venture of Capital W, a production group helmed by Hollywood Fringe Festival veterans Lauren Ludwig (Director/Writer) and Monica Miklas (Producer). Hamlet-Mobile features actors JB Waterman, Lizzie Prestel, Heather Gottlieb, and Hunter Seagroves; costumes by Rachel Weir; lighting by Brandon Baruch; production design by Shing Khor; and sound design by Dave McKeever.

Press seeking to review Hamlet-Mobile or patrons in need of special assistance should contact Monica Miklas to make arrangements. Due to the limited nature of seating, press are kindly asked to make reservations at least 48 hours in advance. The Bootleg Theater is located at 2220 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles 90056.
