Dear Hollywood: A tribute to silent cinema!
A hilarious short film, Dear Hollywood, brings a taste of old cinema, with a dose of physical comedy, to the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Inspired by silent film icons like Chaplin, Keaton, and Lloyd, Dear Hollywood is a modern short film made in the old fashioned way.
A wide eyed actress arrives in Hollywood to pursue her dreams. Only her vision of Hollywood is more glamourous than the real thing. During the course of one day, she discovers the dirty truth of Hollywood and must find a way to survive in order to pursue her dreams.
Masterfully crafted by co-directors Michael may and Julisa lyn smith with original music by Dave Mckeever, dear Hollywood is a loveable film that pokes fun, with a lot of love, at the movie industry.
