Tricked by her young son, Marshall, Abby finds herself locked in a basement with Zach, her gay ex-best friend. Friends for 25 years before he fell in love with her ex-husband who was recently killed in a car accident that may or may not be Zach’s fault, they have an explosive relationship of blame, guilt, memories, laughter, pain, joy and love. Never seen or heard, Marshall remains in control of their confrontation as he repeatedly slides notes under the door that steer their conversation through a wildly emotional roller coaster that forces them to see each other – and themselves – more clearly.

Exploding with and all the emotional complexity found within our most important relationships, Marshall’s Law promises an extraordinary theater experience filled with rage, laughter, pain, and hope led by two powerhouse performances.
