This show is something truly special, the collaborative effort between an amazingly talented cast and Chiara Atik's writing is beyond magical. You will laugh heartily, even if you aren't familiar with HBO's Girls or Alcott's Little Women, however if you're fans of either YOU WOULD BE INSANE TO MISS THIS PRODUCTION. Easily my fringe favorite so far, I almost couldn't deal with how great it was....

Do not walk RUN to see this show before it's sold out, or pray it gets extended. I am going a second time myself. This goes much further than the original concept, which is basically genius, and manages to delight and surprise at every turn. People who love Little Women and/or GIRLS will dig the hell of out it, but someone who isn't familiar with those would love it too. The performances are funny yet grounded, with the whole play being hilarious with some very touching moments! My only notes for the production would be to take your time - they seem to have gotten caught up in the idea that it is "fast paced" and sometimes moments don't land quite the way they could. The other note is about the way the play is structured- I understand it was...

This is probably the most polished show I've seen at this years Fringe. Everything about it is crisp and clean--lights, sounds, sets, blocking, acting, and it's hilarious to boot!
I've never read Little Women or watched Girls (of which this is meant to be a mash-up of), but there are laughs aplenty even without getting what I have to assume are a ton of inside jokes.
This is an absolute 'must see' production and if there are seats still available you should grab yourself one ASAP....

this is the best piece of live theater i've seen so far this year. it's punchy, clever, and hilarious. the performances are deft and the line reading is artfully nuanced and just rolls out in a seemingly casual effervescence. the concept is genius and the script has many shining moments. i was in stitches the whole time. also, the excellent use of lighting, choreography, constant exits and entrances, and minimal set pieces add to the play's brilliant undisguised energy. Women really deserves to be a hit in a full on run. everyone needs to go see this. run!...

'Women' uses its source material well. Very tight performances and quick scenes really move the story from joke to joke in an entirely amusing way. The show very much relies on the predictable cadence of sitcoms, and pairing that with classic literature makes for entertainment a step above. Absolutely fun!...
