IT’S JUST MY LIFE is a collection of powerfully life-affirming true stories, written and performed by the strong women who lived them. What seems extraordinary and overwhelming to us, just becomes part of the fabric of these women’s lives; the new normal.   

Original Play! Brothers Omar & Ramiro take elderly holocaust survivor Yolanda hostage & rob her to pay drug debts. Drama & humor compel these characters to discover a commonality. Their shared humanity redeems the material world that traps them. When the water boils, life takes a turn!

These three original pieces were written, directed, and performed by recent graduates of the Art of Acting Studio Professional Conservatory. Developed in 2017 as a classroom project, each is an artistic and creative exploration of the life of a notable person throughout history.
