Dillis was a wild ride, a commentary on masculinity (and also nothing at all), supremely ridiculous, and I loved every minute. Brianna is an incredibly skilled clown with an acute sense of the audience. She deftly builds and breaks tension, and invites you to play with her, all while maintaining a slight air of danger. This was expressed beautifully in the performance I saw-- in which a spider unexpectedly descended from the ceiling, and was promptly killed by Dillis (and doubly so with Dillis' invisible gun) in one triumphant moment. This show may be a work in progress, but the character feels incredibly well-developed. ... full review

Brianna is awesome, her command of the room is total and delightful. I've seen the show twice now, and it's grown remarkably. I expect to see it again, and again, and again. Different every time, always getting better. ... full review

This show may be described as a work in progress, but it’s pretty damn close to done. Brianna is hilarious as dillis. Brianna has some truly great bits, and the voice and physicalization of this gun toting drill sergeant were a delight. I was worried that the show would be scary because it had nudity but it was just butt so it wasn’t too scary... full review

Brianna Ahlmark lets us in to a show-in-progress as she experiments and literally plays with her audience. There is a loose-ness to the show that allows us, the audience, to either play along or don't. Either way Brianna is a skilled clown and will use whatever you bring to great effect. ... full review

Dillis is what The Hollywood Fringe is about: wildly talented people taking wildly courageous risks. If Andy Kaufman had a lovechild with a deranged drill sergeant, it would be Dillis. Be ready for LOTS of awkward, uncomfortable silences, nervous laughter and "what the @#%! is going on?" moments. And that's clearly Brianna Ahlmark's goal. She doesn't just push the envelope of interactive, solo shows - she obliterates it, then recites a deranged poem about it. I'm very glad I saw (and experienced) this.... full review
