There is something very special about a show when you know and can tell that someone has poured their heart and soul into it. This show was one of those experiences. This show had comedy, spectacle, ass-kicking, but most importantly heart. Whether you are a fan of superheroes or not (but why wouldn't you be?), do yourself a favor and see Tattered Capes. You won't regret it. ...

I just tried to write characters who are human beings who also have superpowers.”
While there’s isn’t time spent on familial or fiscal aspects of these characters’ lives, the fantastically dynamic, interpersonal story that Greg Crafts has fashioned with these (literally) colorful and wonderfully diverse characters REALLY hits the mark....

One of the most successfully ambitious Fringe shows I've seen in years! Writer Greg Crafts and director Corey Lynn Howe--along with great choreography/fight choreography by Soda Persi--craft a piece of superhero pop art for the ages while telling a timely story of gender equality and toxic masculinity that still manages to be a lot of fun. The play's story is extremely well-crafted (no pun intended), but I can't reveal much of it without spoiling some fun twists. ...

Theatre Unleashed has earned its reputation for consistently delivering Fringe hits, and this show does not deviate from that pattern. It was one of our Most Anticipated shows of HFF19, and was a truly different type of Fringe show for TU, proving that there is nothing they cannot do....
