George had such a great cast that worked so cohesively to bring a passion project to life. If you have some prior knowledge about the characters and their work–or are a fan, like myself–this play is nostalgic and allows you to imagine what may have happened behind the scenes. On the other hand, if you have no idea who these characters are, you still get to witness an endearing story about the relatable struggle to pursue your dreams no matter the odds.... full review

George. included a non-traditional color blind cast. This is something you would like to see more often. The acts were well detailed with the soothing sound of music. What a stellar performance by both Henry and Miriam. George. was well written and directed with a twist of humor. George. is a great play to see.... full review

Well written, clean, relevant pace. Excellent directing with a stand out performance by Bryan Navarro as Francis Ford Coppola, Miriam Randolph as Marcia and the rest of the brilliant cast. This is one of the best shows I have seen in a while. I highly recommend it! Very tight show that is a must see!... full review

Cool story. I believed Parizek as Lucas, but that was as far as my disbelief was suspended.... full review

Great Evening in the theatre. Characters based on real people we think we know but we don't know the whole story. It's fun to watch the life story of one of films icons unfold. Performed by a strong company of actors. Special Kudos to the actors play George and Spielberg who turned especially good performances. Their scenes together just sang and were my favorite in the show. ... full review

Having been a longtime Star Wars fan, I enjoyed seeing George.and learning more about the man behind the phenomenon. I would recommend this as required viewing for any fan of Star Wars. Intelligent, thoughtful and witty writing. Evocative, playful and passionate acting. Smooth and creative transitions. Beautiful and unique set posters. Sublime soundtrack that you knew was there but didn’t detract from what was happening on stage. All of the above were successful due to the artistic directing.... full review

George. gives insight and charm to one of films biggest success stories. This well-rounded production all starts with the writing. To condense, visualize and help intertwine a story so thick in Hollywood superstars was no easy task, but the 90 minute play soars by so quick you'll be left wanting more. The fantastic writing is enhanced by it's masterful direction. I can't count how many times I was impressed with how smooth this three act was. Seemless set changes were covered by informative monologues that kept the audience informed of the timeline and entertained. The separation of each act by a well designed poster and spotlight allowed the audience to breathe and reflect before a new chapter in Lucas's journey began. A solid cast from top... full review

As someone who has lived in George Lucas’ hometown all my life, I was intrigued by the concept of this play. We made to trip to the Hollywood Fringe Festival to see the play for ourselves. Not only did we enjoy the play immensely, we hope to bring the cast and crew to Modesto to perform “George.” to the town that annually celebrates “Star Wars Day” on May the 4th and has a month long “American Graffiti” Festival. I know that Modesto will love “George.”... full review
