An able cast having fun with a Shakespearean icon. More silly than satiric, but with Shakespeare running rampant through the 2016 Fringe Festival this may just be a popular antidote! Better costuming would have helped sustain the illusion---tights rather than levis, for example....

From a screenwriter's perspective, I loved the way the show showcased hamlet by adding its own witty twist and creative take on it. It also gave an insight into a writer's mind and how we create stories from events happening around us, which I found very true and refreshing to see on stage.
The acting was superb and the pacing was flawless and during the short duration of the show, I was completely immersed in the story and invested in the characters; from Shakespeare's dilemma of juggling between writing a play and dealing with actors, to Rosemary dealing with a Hamlet who is a little too method, every moment was a joy to see on stage....
