I loved the the title song "My Darling Josephine". It was catchy and, being from Oklahoma, I love a good old western song. After the title song, they performed another saloon song, so at first, I thought the show was going to be a classic saloon show; which I was totally stoked for! However the show was a full straight play bookended by song, so I wouldn't characterize it as a musical per se, more of a play with music. This was hoot'n holler'n good time! It was a fun mix-up mash-up of classic Shakespeare shenanigans set in Tombstone in the mid-1800s. Fun music and some surprisingly great singing performances! Worth the ticket price, hands down! ... full review

The show was an exciting, fun, hilarious ride. The play itself is a brilliant take on life in the theatre during the tumultuous times of the Wild West. You didn't need to know the specifics of the true events it is loosely based on to get that it must have been Challenging during all of that. The nuances throughout the play within the play touching on larger issues are really quite brilliant. Barrett Rimington expressing his urgency that the "show must go on" even with the life or death events taking place right outside illustrate the plight of the artist through time. As with any artistic venture it is misunderstood by the narrow self interested minds in particular sheriff Johnny Behan, who sees it nothing more than an angle to make money a... full review
