My Darling Josephine is a fun and lively little show with a burlesque edge. The actors were great, and if you like westerns and you're in the mood for a rowdy good time than this show should fit the bill! ... full review

My Darling Josephine is a fun mix of Comedy, Vaudeville and Cabaret. The great looking cast and accomplished musicians bring you a fun and good-humored night of theatre. Sabrina Sayed ties the whole thing in a bow with her incredible voice and talent. The house was packet so better get tickets early.... full review

I loved the the title song "My Darling Josephine". It was catchy and, being from Oklahoma, I love a good old western song. After the title song, they performed another saloon song, so at first, I thought the show was going to be a classic saloon show; which I was totally stoked for! However the show was a full straight play bookended by song, so I wouldn't characterize it as a musical per se, more of a play with music. Moreover, I wish that my first impressions of the show would have been true. If this play were to go forward I would rework it to interweave the vocal stylings of Sayed Sabrina and her band more into the show as part of the cast instead of a separate entity. Her voice and persona were quite enjoyable and wished I saw more of h... full review

This was hoot'n holler'n good time! It was a fun mix-up mash-up of classic Shakespeare shenanigans set in Tombstone in the mid-1800s. Fun music and some surprisingly great singing performances! Worth the ticket price, hands down! ... full review

#DrinkBeforeItLA - Sabrina & The Outlaws Saloon Band is great, J. Scott as Barrett Rimington is fantastic, and Charissa Vaughan-Wheeler as Mattie Blaylock has a gorgeous operatic voice. The script could use a really good workshop though. It relies way too heavily on the audience being intimately familiar with the circumstances of the Okay Corrall shootout, and is a bit trite.... full review

The show was an exciting, fun, hilarious ride. The play itself is a brilliant take on life in the theatre during the tumultuous times of the Wild West. You didn't need to know the specifics of the true events it is loosely based on to get that it must have been Challenging during all of that. The nuances throughout the play within the play touching on larger issues are really quite brilliant. Barrett Rimington expressing his urgency that the "show must go on" even with the life or death events taking place right outside illustrate the plight of the artist through time. As with any artistic venture it is misunderstood by the narrow self interested minds in particular sheriff Johnny Behan, who sees it nothing more than an angle to make money a... full review

My Darling Josephine is a lighthearted vaudeville styled comedy featuring a bit of Gilbert and Sullivan and slapstick comedy. It all starts with an acoustic band that includes a cigar box banjo, guitar, flute, upright piano and washboard as well as a couple of saloon girls belting out song. Sayed Sabrina’s marvelously rich contralto backed up in harmonies by Jessica M. Wilson brought the audience into the time and place; an old timey wild west saloon. Katherine King as writer and female lead plays Josephine, a local ingénue who can’t sing and can’t make up her mind about which man she wants to jump claim for the day. Charissa Wheeler is Mattie Blaylock, the other woman. The story delightfully revolves around their competition for the sam... full review
