Chris Farah is certainly a force to be reckoned with, this girl can do it all! We were captivated from the moment Fancy stepped on stage, hanging on her every word and in stitches the entire time. The perfect storm: Hilarious material, a genuinely gifted comedic actor with masterful comedic pacing, a rocking audience fully into the event---many texted her realtime sex-advice questions, and her improv replies repeatedly brought down the house---all tossed into the back room of a working Hollywood bar. I cannot recall a Fringe audience more demonstratively "into" a show. The "penisist" (pianist) was the ideal foil with spot-on chops. Sorry I didn't catch this until the last scheduled performance, but this seems a natural for the Fringe Extension. So, hopefully, I'll go again, bring friends, and this time bring in a drink from the front bar. ... full review

My oh my do I LOVE Fancy Jean! The minute Fancy Jean sets foot on the stage she is in total command and boy, what a performance! This was the first time I have ever had the pleasure of seeing Chris Farah perform and she's absolutely incredible! She is hysterically funny and has some amazing pipes on her to boot! A true powerhouse. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. If any Fringe show deserves an encore, it's Fancy: Secrets From My Bootydoir! I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Farah back in 2011 in a one-person show class in downtown LA. Back then, Fancy was just being born. Now she has bloomed into a grown-ass woman - one who is a genius at taking over a theater and winning your heart. Seriously, folks - this is one of the shows to make time for. Get to the Three of Clubs early, and grab a cold beverage to sip. Then go inside and relish Fancy's witty banter, soulful songs, and an entirely improvised section where she answers questions that the audience is LIVE tweeting. There's even a video intro that alone is worth the price of admission. Go spend an hour with Fancy - it's good for your health.... full review
