This show rocked it out. All my teenage fantasy were lampooned, and it was a real trip down memory lane. Rati was hilarious! Nadia's direction of the video featurettes is not to missed!... full review

Winsome and winning Rati Gupta has assembled a terrific series of coming-of-age stories that will hit a nerve - not just with anyone who loves cheesy 90s teen movies, but with anyone who ever navigated the obstacle field that is high school. Especially stand-out are her interstitial videos, which so expertly capture and send-up the look and feel of the movies that inspire the character of teenaged Rati (as well as Gupta the writer/performer.) The show is incredibly likable, even when her teen character is learning what it's like to *not* be liked - which is different from not being known. Not Another Teen Solo Show wryly illustrates the difference between the anonymity of unpopularity and the painful infamy of backfired popularity. An... full review

Rati Gupta is the Prom Queen of Comedy and late 90s nostalgia in her wonderful one woman play, Not Another Teen Solo Show. A simple, fun, well put together fringe-solo masterpiece. Anyone who went to high school in the late 90s will love it!... full review

Rati is magical and does a wonderful job! So funny. If you LOOOOVE the rom com 90s films, then you will LOVE all of the references. It took me BACK to a simpler, happier time and for that I am grateful. GO SEE IT!... full review

I'll admit I had my doubts about a solo show, but Rati kept us entertained the whole time!! I was literally LOLing throughout. The show brought up so many great memories from high school. Wish I could see a sequel :)... full review

What a fun show! I admit I am the perfect demographic as a child of the 90's but the universal struggle of youth and the nuances of high school are accessible to most if not all. I especially enjoyed the filmed scenes used as transitions. They were hilarious, beautifully shot and edited, I could watch a whole series of Rati traipsing through the awkward world of high school and be happy 'bout it. There isn't a lull or boring moment of the show, Rati's boundless energy and loveable spirit will leave you wanting more.... full review

This show kills on so many levels. Every pop-media reference is hit spot on (J. Jackson breakdown, heya), and the humor is bright and witty. It is also an honest and fresh take on the omnipresent high school archetypes that come so close, yet fall so far from their mark. Bravo, Rati!... full review
