A lively solo show featuring a mix of wacky characters, multi-media and edutainment, I HEART MAROC will take you on a journey into the lives of rural Moroccans as experienced by Azo, a 24 year old Peace Corps volunteer who travels to Morocco to find her life’s purpose.

After a series of self-inflicted tragedies, a Hollywood dreamer has to go back to basics and figure out some life truths. Out of all the questions to answer, the biggest (and most unexpected): is "he" actually a "she"?

Inspired by the true story of a slave who fled. Upon capture, she kills her child rather than return it to slavery. She recounts the past, as water goddess Yemoja and the ancestors seek to remind her, and all those with African roots of their royal heritage, courage, and our shared bright futures
