What I liked

I was highly impressed with both of the performers, who clearly threw their all into their roles. I was astonished at how smoothly and unconventionally was pulled off, and also the other . #NoSpoilers…you’ll know what I mean when it happens.

The set was fab and kudos to the sound design, which I feel, outside of the performances, deserved a shout-out.

What I didn't like

In all truth, I can’t think of a thing that needs to be tweaked, which is unusual for me.

If forced to come up with something? If this show travels, and I think it can, 3/4 of the food on the set is not needed. It looked like it was set up for a BBQ/party, but only two people are on deck. OTOH, what one of the actors does with all that stuff is so delightful to watch, I’m reluctant to advise nixing most it. If you got the budget, go for it! But if this show travels and budget is a concern, nix most of that food set up, as lovely as it was.

My overall impression

A powerfully performed work of hilarity and pathos. It stuck with me for quite a while after. This play is a very human, empathetic take on a profoundly difficult subject. I loved it.
