What I liked

Just a wonderful sense of fun and play. The knowing wink to the audience as she delivers lines with machine gun pace and plays it so earnestly and honestly that it becomes parody aspiring to satire. A gorgeous and engaging character that you can’t take your eyes off.

What I didn't like

I just hope enough people saw this show!

My overall impression

This is one of those shows that makes Fringe exciting and fun. This show is a diamond in an over full field of coal, just a wonderful surprise. Written and performed to perfection, Ms. Gayer has us from the moment the lights come up. Her mane of wild curls bouncing madly as she spits her lines from the perch atop her peloton. She looks like a lion closing in at full speed on its prey. Feral and Ferocious, laying down a little science while working a hula hoop. The Charlie Brown adult squawking gibberish from “the Doctor,” works. The direction and design work. Lighting, transitions, music, call backs, it all works. Gayer has created a character that you can’t help but fall in love with. We believe her, we are rooting for her and the most frightening thing of all is that we know her. It’s nice when nice happens to nice. This show feels like the secret that you want everybody to find out about. I hope so anyway.
