Such an intimate, tender, truthfully told story of love, lost love and second loves. The writing by Matt Morillo is exceptional and the performances from these two actors were sublime and as honest as you could ever ask for - in such powerfully intimate moments! Kudos to everyone involved with this project. Amazing.... full review

It's a situation that most people unfortunately have to deal with in life: ending a relationship. But this is not a piece filled with animosity or one where the viewer becomes depressed. It's not the usual story of a break up and in this case the couple has already broken up, for one very specific reason and then decide to spend one last amazing night together. But of course, the night does not go as planned. Matt Morillo's piece begins with many funny, light moments that allow you to follow Rachel and Brian into the night and eventually learn about their past and who they are individually (kudos to the actors; this is tough to accomplish in just 55 minutes). Katie Oliver and Dingani Beza both deliver solid performances as Rachel and Brian; ... full review

A sweet, heartfelt play about true love and the consequences of not trusting your heart. If We Run touches on an interesting aspect of the "what if" question, and what could have been if certain decisions had changed.... full review

Simple, elegant, raw, perfectly performed and structured. A story about love and loss that isn't precious about itself, and is all the more powerful for it. The two leads do amazing work, the script is tight and real and heartbreaking, the staging is just right. Highly recommended and kudos to the cast and crew.... full review

Mad Spoiler Alert: Not all stories have happy endings. Some of them do. If We Run is one of those stories that could end either way. The cool part about this play is that it isn't obvious which way it's going to end, and even though part of you does want it to have a fairytale ending another part of you secretly hopes it doesn't. Because the latter is so much more heartbreakingly real and truthful. Matt's writing doesn't let the characters get away with having their heart's desire because at the end of the day, they know that what their heart wants isn't what will actually lead to happiness. It's real life on-stage and it'll probably feel eerily familiar to a relationship you've had yourself.... full review

What a beautiful and heartbreaking story! Highly recommend!! The weight of it hit me after curtain call and it stuck with me for a while. The writing was fantastic and the actors brought beautiful life and color to those words. You could feel the character's passion and love for one another and the absolute anguish in their decisions. This is the type of storytelling that makes you feel and evaluate your own lives and relationships. This is the type of actors' piece I would love to be in!! ... full review
