This is a remarkable show! Constance is a force. I learned so much and was also deeply moved. Constance navigates all of the lives she embodies with such specifics that she transforms! A very important story that is a cry for action. This story needs to be seen far and wide!... full review

The show effortlessly brought together the crux of the turmoil and unrest in the nation like a maelstrom of heartbreak. From a corrupt minister to a traumatized 14 year old girl, each character the inimitable Constance Ejuma conjures is completely made whole. Every facial expression down to the tiniest detail gives such nuance that you whole heartedly believe these are different people played by d... full review

Relevant. Complex. Striking. I did not know about the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon, which can be said for so many crises around the world, and yet more and more we are becoming made aware of these issues through various forms of social media, a point highlighted in the show. Ghost Town is a testament to power of one person's desire to engage in a story, digging into all its complexities, and sharing one's discoveries, in the hopes of igniting others' concern and curiosity about the worlds unknown and stories untold. Ejuma bares witness to history's predictable recurrence when not studied wholly by bringing forth not only the roots of violence in Cameroon, but the haunting voices of those impacted most by it. Each voice, each perspec... full review

"ghost town" brings home an awareness of our bubble of security and prosperity. Constance Ejuma, actress and playwright, makes this clear as she demonstrates with power and intensity the suffering of the people of the west African country of Cameroon (Amazonia?) due to an ongoing civil war. A must-see. ... full review
