What I liked
I liked the variety of songs and Laura’s commitment to inhabiting each character.
What I didn't like
I admired that the whole show was songs, but I sometimes felt myself wanting a little talking to explain or expand on the songs.
My overall impression
This show bills itself as a romp, and that is spot on. The songs are funny, sexy, sad, and in the case of Lady M, terrifying. Play On is a testament to the power of one woman and a piano.
