I loved the songs, yes, but also the subtly and nuance of the transitions. A thoroughly unconventional “concert.” Trexler brought the ladies of Shakespeare to life in a fresh, clever & modern fashion. Must see for music & Shakespeare lovers alike.
What I didn't like
Nothing, I felt it was a terrific length, she combined humor at just the moments. The Lady Macbeth monologue was a brilliant theatrical device. Major kudos.
My overall impression
Wow. Laura Jo Trexler’s vocal stylings are perfection – in the vein of Sara Bareilles, Jessie Mueller and Sara McLachlan. The show itself was romantic, innovative and funny! Wonderful artistry. Soulful.
