Excellent show about growing up in Miami in the 1960s and 1970s and then working as an actor in Hollywood! Keith Blaney is a great storyteller. His style is very similar to the great Jean Shepherd! Even if you didn't grow up in Miami, you'll love this show!...

This autobiographical storytelling show was so entertaining, I kinda didn't want it to end. I expected it to be pretty good because I've seen Keith Blaney perform at Comedy Central Stage's Thursday night Sit n Spin many times, but this evening was elevated way beyond my expectations. Big energy in a small package. True tales of growing up in Florida and its aftermath, told by Keith Blaney with just the right amount of musical accompaniment (on accordion, ukulele & assorted effects) by Nikki Kelly. At turns funny and sad, always charming and sweetly human. You're watching a pro.

"One man" or "One-woman" shows have become a cliché. They're usually more self-help than good writing, and have become a punch line for comedians. Keith Blaney's show is not one of those. He brings a combination of good, solid, funny writing along with a seasoned actor's skill to make F*ck Fiction a totally entertaining, funny, and touching memoir of an interesting part of America, and a funny family. You really care about Keith, and his Dad, and even Miami....
